The Treasure Valley has many different agencies and services geared towards mental wellness. Here are a few that may be of interest:

For NAMI, please click here. NAMI provides support, education, and advocacy for those affected by mental illness.
​
For the Idaho Mental Health Counselors Association, click here. IMHCA works to enhance the profession of clinical mental health counseling through the promotion of licensing, advocacy, education, and professional development.
​
Idaho Department of Health and Welfare provides state funded and operated community based mental health care services through Regional Behavioral Health Centers (RBHC) located in each of the seven geographical regions of the state. Each RBHC provides mental health services through a system of care that is both community-based and consumer-guided. More information can be found here.

The American Counseling Association (ACA) promotes the professional development of counselors, advocates for the profession, and ensures ethical, culturally-inclusive practices that protect those using counseling services. A copy of the ACA guidelines and more information about the ACA can be found here.

Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline provides crisis intervention, emotional support, problem solving, and referrals to local resources for persons at risk for suicide and for those concerned about them. For more information, click here
